We were both so sorry to hear Jimmy had passed away. Mom & I both adored Jimmy, He was more like family than an in-law. Mom & Dad always enjoyed visiting & playing crib with both Jimmy & Peggy. Every summer Sunday in the 60's thru 80's when returning from a weekend camping expedition, we always stopped in to say "HELLO" on the way home. We often stayed for supper & they all enjoyed a few games of cribbage. I remember the gardens & Jimmy pulling carrots & shaking SOME of the dirt off & then laughing while I got a muddy face eating them. No one loved a good joke or prank as much as Jim. He was always willing to go the extra mile for everyone. Jimmy often fished with Dad in the pond at the first house and later he took Mom fishing in the back 40 of Puddington Road. He had a generous nature & beautiful smile. He was a good man. Mom & I will miss him but we are sure he is back together with Peggy, the love of his life, Michael & his parents. It's hard but we know it's best he is no longer in pain & that he most likely wrapped in Peggy's loving arms.

To Doug, Dale, and Philip - I am very saddened to hear of your father's death. Jimmy and I were life-long first cousins and shared many childhood memories. As adults my husband Donnie and I enjoyed many happy times with him and your mother Peggy. Deepest sympathy to you and your families.
